An engagement shoot is a fun & exciting time for any couple.
My relaxed, informal shoot is a wonderful way to commemorate your engagement & your future wedding plans.

I have several couples who express nerves or shyness when it comes to photography, however having an engagement shoot is the perfect way to get used to the camera in preparation for your big day.
During the session, I hope to settle any nerves, fears or questions you may have.

I promise you won’t be asked to do any extravagant poses; the session consists of a simple walk around your chosen location, pausing by a cute nook or against an image worthy backdrop and fear not I will give you plenty of direction.

Where does the shoot take place?

It can be anywhere you wish - somewhere sentimental to you both, your favourite area, or even where the big question was popped. There are plenty of beauty spots around the North West, if you get stuck for ideas let me know I have plenty of suggestions.

When should the shoot take place?

Early mornings or sunsets sometimes do tend to have the prettiest light- but any time is great for me. I am flexible and can work around your schedule.

How long does the shoot take?

1.5 to 2hrs is usually a good amount of time to get around your location, chat and snap away.

What if it rains?

Assuming it’s not pouring down but you are happy to embrace a little bit of drizzle with an umbrella, some cute wellies and a raincoat ..then bring on the puddle splashing.
However if rain isn’t your thing that isn’t a problem we can most certainly reschedule.
