I’m Shauna, thanks for coming to check out my page and view my work. 

This is also where you can get to know a little more  about me, as I feel it's super important that you get to know some facts about the person who could potentially be capturing some very special memories for you!

Simply put, I love weddings, whether it be capturing special wedding memories as a photographer, being a guest at one or..... oh, of course that time I was a Bride at my own wedding! – What I would give to do it all over again !

I will gladly talk to you all day about your plans; I love the magical, exciting & giddy feeling that shines through when people are speaking about their big day ahead. 

I married into a large Scottish family who are the loveliest, craziest and most fun loving people I know. My husband Kris (now an adopted scouser) but a Scotsman to the core - is my biggest supporter and the best tea (sometimes Gin) assistant when I’m busy editing !

At our pre wedding chat, I will happily supply Irn bru and shortbread on request !

Our two little Maltese dogs run the house- Archie ( aka Archibald) and Neal ( …the baby ) …..to be fair, we let them as they are the cutest and craziest four legged friends, who fill our life with so much happiness, if you decide to have a dog at your wedding, I will bring plenty of treats and (attempt to) become best friends with them.

Things I love:

• Musicals – I trained as a dancer for 18 years growing up, so I naturally love all things theatrical.

•  Quiz shows – I would have to say Only connect is my absolute favourite, Victoria Corren Mitchell is a Queen. 

• Board Games – I am insanely competitive, game night at our house does get interesting and I have been banned from playing Jenga.

Movies – I love so many films!

• Pretty much most rom coms, I’m a hopeless romantic who will cry watching 50 first dates for the 700th time.

• The Kill Bill films, I could probably act out word for word.

• Any Wes Anderson movies - specifically for the beautiful cinematography and quirky comic edge.

• Whiplash – because you know … Drums

• and the all-time classic Wizard of Oz as there’s no place like home !

Traveling & Exploring

We absolutely love new adventures UK & Abroad whether it be traveling up to Scotland to discover the gems of Kris homeland, to further afield and maybe a plane ride away.

We have a soft spot for across the pond as we got engaged in NYC, so we decided to do some exploring there on a road trip which took us from East to west coast.

…and to finish

I thought I would share one of my life goals which is… to learn how to play the drums.

It’s been my dream since I was 3 years old when I asked Father Christmas for a Mickey Mouse drum kit, sadly it never came (no grudges held though, I understand a noisy child and a noisy musical instrument is enough to drive any parent insane) - I will get there one day though !  

 ….And my background on getting into photography

I found my feet in photography when I studied Visual Media & Advertising at university in 2010. This is where my passion for photography was awakened, and I was veered into a new career path. These days, I take any chance I can to absorb all things Photography, to ensure I am always well equipped with the correct tools and knowledge to capture the most magical moments on your wedding day!
