Bridal Prep

A relaxing morning of hair & make-up was underway as I arrived for bridal prep.

Nicola was surrounded by Mum –Ann & Bridesmaids Laura & Alisha who were all enjoying the beautiful sunny weather with selfies and glasses of fizz.

Nicola revealed her stunning bridal look to her bridesmaids who were full of emotion for their amazing friend who’s big day had finally arrived.

*extra points for those who spotted the very regal tiara Nicola is wearing which is based on the one the Dutchess of Sussex wore on her wedding day.

Ceremony & Reception

As the sun beamed down on the stone barns of Hyde Bank Farm, family and friends took their seats for the ceremony in the Ann Hyde Suite. Magical twinkling lights draped the rustic beams and Craig took his place to await the arrival of his Bride.

Laura & Alisha lead the way followed by Nicola who was given away by Ann a very proud mother of the bride.

Craig & Nicola reunited at the top of the aisle ready to become Mr & Mrs Montgomery.

Vows and rings exchanged the happy couple were finally able to tie the knot after what had been a longer countdown than originally planned due to the pandemic, it would be an understatement to say that everyone was overjoyed to finally see them become Mr & Mrs.

The happy couple and their guests enjoyed the sunny grounds of Hyde Bank farm for their drinks reception.

The Surprise

Everyone gathered for the newlyweds wedding breakfast in the spectacular wedding suite, so many beautiful touches to the day which included the wedding favours, centrepieces and floral arrangements made by Ann – Mother of the bride. Also the work of art that was the wedding cake and the model cake topper of Nicola & Craig themselves.

Dinner was served and as dessert followed a surprise for groom Craig & Guests was about to unfold – Bride Nicola had planned a little entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

Ray who had embedded himself in to the venue for the day as a member of staff was actually a surprise silver service singing waiter.

He revealed his cover by ‘falling ‘ right in front of the top table spilling a champagne bucket of cutlery right under Craig’s nose..... Craig looked up with genuine concern and then went back to his dessert but before he could take another mouthful Ray jumped up & stunned everyone by belting out his first song.

Shocked faces, laughter and singing filled the room !

Everyone was elated and on their feet ( at their tables) singing away.

Ray was absolutely fantastic, he lit a fire in every single guest and got the party started.

It was safe to say nobody was expecting it and it was the perfect way to get everyone involved in their seats.

As their evening guests arrived the wedding party gathered on the warm sunny terrace to continue the celebrations.

Congratulations again to the new Mr & Mrs Montgomery
